The Carolina

This stately home is situated on the intracoastal Waterway in Wilmington, NC. The client's wanted a serene, calming space that emphasized the homes panoramic views. We delivered. Watery colors flow throughout the home, from the misty dining room palette to the cool blues of the primary bathroom. We updated floors, reimagined the kitchen, overhauled the primary bath and transformed this home to a classic coastal dream home.

The Verlin

This is a scene we see often, a dining space that's being under-utilized. The bones of this room were great, with good proportion, great light and wainscoting detail. We added a classic, vibrant wallpaper to give the room its own personality. All new furnishings, lighting, and window treatments provided this family with the perfect entertaining space.

This dining room is the first room you see when entering this home. The dark red walls did not give the welcoming feel my client desired. Instead, we chose a classic wallpaper in soothing blues and greens to give the space warmth and energy. Custom linen window treatments, classic light toned furniture and rich variations of blues and greens make this dining space a place to linger a little longer.

The Linkside

It didn’t take long in this renovation to realize that the rooms were in the wrong location for this family. The dark and poorly laid out kitchen needed more elbow room and more natural light. The dining room was cramped and cut off from the rest of the rooms. By relocating the kitchen to the front of the home, we were able to access abundant light, enlarge the footprint and still maintain a spacious dining room.

Now, this open concept home can host a crowd or an intimate dinner party with grace and style.

Asbury Sunroom

The backyard with adjoining creek is a well-loved amenity in this client's home. We wanted to take their sun-porch to the next level; allowing for luscious landscape views and expanding the interior entertaining space. We updated the room by installing all new picture windows, widening the cased opening and continuing new flooring from the adjacent living room. A sunny color palette with plush seating invite all who visit to sit and relax a while. And new custom cabinetry can now house all those board games for fun evenings with friends.

Asbury Kitchen

This client loves to cook and entertain. This home has hosted numerous neighborhood block parties and family reunions. After 20 years of hospitality, it was time to make the home function for its task. We combined an office and dining room to create this well-equipped kitchen. Rerouting a pair of french doors allowed us to expand the exterior deck. Opening up the cased opening near the front door made easier traffic patterns for guests. Moving the kitchen from the center of the home allowed for an open concept kitchen and dining space. We completely transformed the layout of this home. Now, it functions beautifully for both host and guest.

The Whiteside

Tired, dark and on the smaller side. this kitchen needed some love and intervention. We removed the soffit, pushed out the peninsula, enlarged the window and added new everything.

One of the lightest and brightest kitchens I've designed with black accents. We used stock cabinetry in a custom design to stretch the investment. The most perfect mid-century modern tile makes a welcoming statement throughout the space.
