Recently widowed, this third-time client’s new home was dark and not at all to her tastes or emotional wellbeing. To help her cast a new, brighter vision for the space, we designed a new fireplace, painted the kitchen cabinets, installed quartz countertops, and specified lighthearted wallpaper patterns for the powder room, dining room, bedroom, and primary bathroom. All new furniture and pops of her favorite colors make this a home to smile about.

This dining room is the first room you see when entering this home. The dark red walls did not give the welcoming feel my client desired. Instead, we chose a classic wallpaper in soothing blues and greens to give the space warmth and energy. Custom linen window treatments, classic light toned furniture and rich variations of blues and greens make this dining space a place to linger a little longer.

This living space is well-proportioned but the original elevation of the fireplace with the window above was not the focal point the homeowner wished for. We removed the awkward window (creating a custom brickwork design on the exterior), and designed a custom fireplace with arch detail. Now the fireplace is a stunning focal point, highlighted by the oversized peacock art that establishes a beautiful color palette for the room.
