This charming Sunset Beach cottage was originally lost in a sea of bold colors gone awry. The family wanted a Palm Beach vibe with a bit of mid-century modern thrown in. We accommodated by mixing punches of color with restful hues. This irresistible Airbnb is now restful, playful and durable.

For the main kitchen, we painted the solid wood cabinets a soft white, dropped the two-tiered island, and added sparkling white quartz countertops. A groovy wallpaper with a nod to the ocean set the stage for mid-century modern accents like statement lighting and counter stools. It’s a hit with both home-owner and vacationer alike.
